I adore weddings at Pennard House in Somerset. What’s not to love?! You have everything to make you feel comfortable, starting with the main house that feels like a home from home, giving you the real sense that you can relax and enjoy your stay whilst here. You’ll be spoilt for choice with the options for your wedding at Pennard from an indoors ceremony for up to 95 guests to an outdoor marriage on the lawn or by the lake for up to 120 guests. A short walk away you can also find All Saints’ church where you can have a traditional religious ceremony.
Once you’ve tied the knot, you can enjoy drinks on the terrace or over in the Coach House if wet. There are great opportunities for photography at Pennard House and I am always finding new and interesting places to take couples for their shots, including the ornamental pond just across the road.
In the warmer months your guests will be able to stay over in style with glamping in the awesome tipis, as well as in the main house. The Coach House is a truly fabulous place for your celebrations; with wedding breakfast and speeches held upstairs, you can then head downstairs and party long into the night.
It must be said the wedding team at Pennard House are always exceptional; it’s a pleasure to work here and there’s never a request too big or small.
