St Donats Castle Wedding Photography

Jess & Joe, St Donats Castle

I adore being a St Donats Castle wedding photographer, which is nestled on the stunning South-Wales coastline, it is always a great venue to shoot at and Jess and Joe’s gorgeous wedding day was no exception. I started with the boys getting ready (and Joe making sure he had ticked off all the jobs on his list! whilst looking dapper in his suit from Dyfed Menswear and then moved onto photographing the bridal preparations where Jess was radiant in her Enzoani dress from Laura May Bridal. The Blessed Sacrament Church Rumney in Cardiff was the setting for the wedding ceremony. Upon arriving as newlyweds at St Donat’s we headed in the car straight down to the beach to make the most of the fabulous views and walked our way back up to the main castle grounds via the stunning Rose Garden. There aren’t many venues which give you access to the sea and such picturesque gardens, St Donat’s Castle weddings are very unique!

The wedding reception was held on the main lawns and after group photos and drinks, guests moved inside to for the wedding breakfast and saw gorgeous floristry from Catherine Gray which made the Bradenstoke Hall look even more amazing. After speeches I slipped away with Jess and Joe to get a few more shots of them together reflecting on their wedding day and enjoying the last rays of sunshine. Then it was time to hit the dance floor! There’s plenty of space for outrageous moves in the Bradenstoke Hall and everyone had a great time celebrating, long into the night.
