Kathryn & Abhinav, St Audries Park

St Audries Park Wedding

St Audries Park is a stunning country house estate set in beautiful countryside with views of the Bristol Channel. Kathryn and Abhinav chose this lovely Somerset wedding venue for their special day. An incredible day with lots of laughter and action for me to capture!

St Audries Park has a spacious room for the bridal party and it was here Kathryn and her team were busy preparing. Hair and make up was by the always excellent Dren. I caught up with the boys and Abhinav was looking the part in his blue suit. Photographing the build up is always a nice way for me to get a feel for the personalities and characters of the day.

Church Wedding at St Audries Park

The couple held their ceremony at St Etheldreda’s Church and had an outdoor drinks reception in beautiful spring sunshine. There were entertaining speeches which elicited lots of smiles and emotion. After the wedding breakfast I captured some gorgeous shots of the newlyweds enjoying time together in the golden hour. This is one of my favourite times to capture the couple. They have done all the hard work and are really relaxed by now! My job is to help them focus on each other and not the camera. I want to create a space for them to be themselves. My aim to is take pictures that reflect who they are as a couple. For Kathryn and Abhinav this meant their joy in laughing and joking with each other! Their wonderful day continued with plenty of dancing in the Great Hall, a great place for a party! There was sparkler send-off to end the perfect day.

Enjoy this selection of photographs from their Springtime wedding at St Audries.
